🌡 Rectal temperature
Adult bitch normal: 38.0–39.2°C. ≥41°C = heat stroke. ≤35.5°C = severe hypothermia (both are emergencies).
🩸 Vaginal discharge
Postpartum lochia is normal for 1-3 weeks (greenish/dark, mild smell). Bright red bleeding or foul smell are red flags.
